James “Woody” Beckham was tackled and left paralyzed in a rugby game earlier this year. He had intense therapy at Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital for two months and continues outpatient therapy.

On Monday, he and The Woody Foundation presented a check for $20,000 to fund the purchase of new equipment and recreation therapy outings for patients of the hospital.
