The 4th Annual Lionfish Bash, which took place at Bimini Sands in the Bahamas on August 15 - 17, was another great success.
The Woody Foundation hosted their fourth annual Lionfish Bash fishing tournament at Bimini Sands Resort and Marina during the weekend of August 15th-‐17th, 2014. The main purpose for the Lionfish Bash is to raise funds and awareness for the spinal cord injured community as well as Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital. The Third Annual Golf Classic was a fantastic day that cultivated awareness and fundraising efforts for the Woody Foundation. We are happy to have partnered with The Buoniconti Fund and are glad to have raised money for those who are the leading researchers to find a cure for paralysis in the United States.
“The Woody Foundation touched me in a personal way. Woody was a kid, just like any of us and could have been a son, friend, cousin or teammate of any of ours. His story inspired me to take action.
